$20,000 MAIDEN SERIES CAMPDRAFT – AUSTRALIA’S RICHEST BREED RESTRICTED CAMPDRAFT

The ASHS Board of Directors and the National Show Committee are pleased to announce a huge prize pool for the 2018 ASHS National Show. The ASHS National Show will now include a programme that makes it the richest restricted breed Campdraft in the country. The 2018 event will see Pryde’s EasiFeed return as naming sponsor for Maiden Campdraft Series 21 and will see an injection of ASH funding to increase the cash prizemoney to a massive $20,000 prize pool. This two round campdraft with a final, will see round and cut-out winners take home prizemoney plus other product prizes. The winner with the highest aggregate score will receive $5,000 in cash plus a handcrafted trophy saddle kindly sponsored by Killmore Saddlery.

The $10,000 R.M.Williams Open Campdraft will again be offered thanks to the generous long term support of Sponsor R.M.Williams who also support the ABBEY Open Challenge event. R.M.Williams Heartland Marketing Manager, Terry Goodyer said “RMW Williams heritage is heavily linked to the Australian outback and way of life, we see our support of this event as paying tribute to the legacy of founder Reginald Murray Williams and his love of this great country”. The remainder of the Campdraft programme includes a $5,850 Martins Transport Novice, $ 3,300 Performax International Stallion Campdraft and $1,600 Mavericks Western Wear Ladies Campdraft.

 

The ASHS National Show programme also includes Challenge events such as the 30th Anniversary of the National Futurity, the Rosebrook ASH Stud National Maturity and the Affinity Equine Insurance Snaffle Bit Futurity. The Triple Crown Series is again on offer determined by the highest aggregate scores from the 2016 Snaffle Bit Futurity, 2017 National Futurity & 2018 National Maturity taking home a Hawkesbury River Saddle Co Trophy Saddle and a cash prize of $1,400 thanks to the support of Affinity Equine Insurance & Hawkesbury River Saddle Co. Coupled with a full show and dressage programme, the National Show will be an exciting nine days of competition. Attracting competitors from all over the country to compete for a prize pool expected to reach over $140,000 consisting of cash, six trophy saddles, stallion services and products.

 

The Fountain of Youth Sale will once again keenly offer sought after young Australian Stock Horses including large vendor & purchaser incentives. Over 60 yearlings are expected & two year olds with quality performance bloodlines will go under the hammer. The Society is excited to again partner with our approved selling agents, Landmark Equine, in continuing to build this prestigious young horse sale and offer exclusive competitions, awards and cash incentives for horses purchased at this sale.

 

Spectators and visitors are most welcome to attend this major event to witness the high level of competition, feature entertainment of the Stock Horse Gala Night (Saturday 4th March) and various educational workshops.
