We INVITE ASHS members to be a vendor at the 2020 Fountain of Youth Sale. The sale will be held on Sunday 26th April 2020 at AELEC Tamworth, NSW. This year, the sale parade and auction will be held on Sunday, with the parade allowing an opportunity for prospective purchasers to inspect sale lots.
We have again secured Landmark as the selling agent who specialise in the sale of performance horses. The sale has been held annually for many years with sale averages being consistent and top priced horses achieving a good result.
The Fountain of Youth Sale is a Prestigious Sale for Young Horses, the future starts here for quality young stock. The sale is held in conjunction with the 2020 National Show and competitors will be present to consider the young stock on offer. The sale provides an opportunity for breeders to further promote their horses and offers members a chance to sell quality performance horses of the future. The Fountain of Youth sale in where success begins.
To nominate a horse, please ensure your horse is registered prior to nomination. Nominations are now open until 31st January 2020. For your perusal, we have listed the sale results for the last 3 years as evidence of the success of this sale. Sale horses will be stabled in E & F Blocks at the event.
Join us to celebrate the versatility and superior performance of the Australian Stock Horse by being part of this event. It is an opportunity to sell a horse and become eligible for vendor incentives on offer through this sale.
NATIONAL FUTURITY INCENTIVES – $10,000
NATIONAL FUTURITY – SALE INCENTIVES valued at $10,000 (Conditions Apply):
- The purchaser may be eligible to claim Sale Incentive Prizemoney for the Highest Placed Fountain of Youth Sale horses in the National Futurity: 1st – $4,000, 2nd – $2,000 and 3rd – $1,000.
- The vendor of the highest placed Fountain of Youth horses in the National Futurity Overall becomes eligible to claim the Sale Incentive Bonus – 1st – $1,500, 2nd – $1,000 and 3rd – $500.
- The National Futurity nomination fee for the horse will be eligible for a $90.00 discount.

The minimum start-up price for bidding is set at $1,500. The commission will be payable by the vendor to the Auctioneer in respect of each lot sold. This applies from the day of sale to 14 days after the advertised sale date, whether sold at Auction or Private Treaty.
